Customer Reviews
Love these glasses and just what I was looking for!
I can't say enough nice things about these sunglasses. Not only do they look amazing...they are the first, of many, Ray Bans, that don't slip off my nose in the heat.
Being one of the top brands in the industry, Ray-Ban knows a thing or two about crafting eyewear that both protects and makes you look fantastic. From a classic style to ample protection, there are plenty of reasons to consider these glasses.

The Story
The Erika launched in 2014 as Ray-Ban's softer, more modern take on the iconic Wayfarer silhouette — slimmer, rounder, and built around a then-new "soft-twist" bridge for all-day comfort. It quickly became one of the brand's most-loved everyday frames, especially for anyone who finds traditional Wayfarers a touch too bold.
Materials
Lightweight, hypoallergenic rubberized nylon front with slim metal temples and tone-on-tone rubber temple tips. The signature soft-twist bridge flexes gently to sit comfortably across the nose without pressure points.
Fit & Feel
A medium-fit round frame that suits most face shapes, especially oval, square, and heart-shaped faces. The slim profile reads dainty rather than bulky — think Wayfarer attitude with a lighter footprint. Available in standard 54mm.
Sustainability
Lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Ray-Ban frames are made in Italy under EssilorLuxottica's Eyes on the Planet program, which is working toward carbon neutrality across manufacturing sites.
Care
Wipe lenses with the included microfibre cloth. Rinse with lukewarm water if dusty, then dry gently. Store in the case when not on your face — and keep them off the top of your head to avoid stretching the frame.
Questions
How are these different from the classic Wayfarer?+
The Erika has a slightly rounder, slimmer shape and metal temples instead of full acetate arms — so they feel lighter and look a bit softer on the face. Same Ray-Ban DNA, less bulk.
Will the rubber finish wear off?+
With normal use, no — the rubberised coating is durable. A small tip from customers: in hot weather, foundation can transfer onto the rubber near the nose, so just wipe with a damp cloth and it lifts straight off.
Are the lenses polarised?+
Depends on the variant — check the inside of the right arm. A 'P' next to the Ray-Ban logo means polarised. Either way, all Erika lenses block 100% of UV.
Can I get prescription lenses fitted?+
Yes — bring them to any optician or to our partner lab. The Erika frame is Rx-compatible.
